Hello and Happy Saturday! The Feds met this week and, as expected, dropped their Federal Funds rate by another quarter of a percent. This rate drop was expected and both the stock and bonds markets were very flat after the change. Our mortgage rates were largely unchanged this week as compared to a week ago. All 3 of my lenders are telling me that rates are slightly better than they were last week.
