Private mortgage lending is an investment strategy used to secure passive income by creating win-win scenarios for both the lender and the borrower. Typically the transaction involves a note which details the principal amount and the interest to be paid on that amount. The term of the loan may be in months or years depending on your investments goals and risk tolerance.

As the lender, you have the ability to structure these notes so that you receive dividend checks (typically monthly or quarterly) and your loan is secured by real estate.

This first video is very light in detail because the topic has some complexities however if you are an investor and are not currently aware of this method of investing I would say consider doing some research on how private mortgage lending can benefit you.
