What is their License Level? Or are they even Licensed?
Institutional lenders Bank/Credit Union are not even Licensed, did you know that? They work under the institutions License and they have a high turnover. Largely they are Refinance Lenders and don’t have much local experience when it comes to Purchasing a home in California and the unique protocol we have. Online loan officers have very little practical experience and are largely taught to get em in and get em out.
A home loan is a huge financial commitment why wouldn’t you want a Loan Officer that is NOT credentialed and Licensed? NOT ME!!
Do they have an advanced Degree? I mean they are offering advice and financial opinion on the largest investment most people make, wouldn’t it be nice if they went to college in addition to practical On the Job Experience?

I HOLD A MORTGAGE BROKER LICENSE, CALIFORNIA REAL ESTATE LICENSE AND HAVE A BA IN BUSINESS ADMIN, IN ADDITION TO NUMEROUS ATTENDANCE TO CONTINUING EDUCATION, REAL ESTATE INVESTMENT, REAL ESTATE AND MORTGAGE CONFERENCES THROUGHOUT THE YEAR.

If they do loans why can’t you find them? Do They Even Exist?

A Purchase originator has so many talents, experience and KNOWLEDGE that a refinance originator simply DOES not possess.
Contract over site and Knowledge about all facets of compliance. IE: contingency periods,

Do they own a home? Do they own Rental or Investment Property? I just don’t understand how someone with NO EXPERIENCE to the process or “ACT” of home ownership can possibly recommend to you “what you should do”. There is nothing like practical experience.
