After learning about a possible scheme to bilk struggling Connecticut families, Congressman Joe Courtney alerted State Attorney General Richard Blumenthal. The two officials hosted a press conference on February 19 to discuss the alleged scheme by a Wyoming based company that instructs families facing foreclosure to stop paying their mortgage payments and that the company will stop the foreclosure. Two families, one in Andover and one in East Hartford, have fallen victim to the plot. Blumenthal has ordered a 'cease and desist' to the company and has launched an investigation. \r
